Our Principal and Staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

At Bilgola Plateau Public School, we are proud to provide high quality education in a caring, inclusive and engaging environment. Our mission is to empower every student to reach their full potential through excellent teaching, strong relationships and a supportive community.

We believe education is a partnership between students, staff, families and the wider community. Our classrooms are welcoming spaces where learning is tailored to individual needs and students are encouraged to think critically, creatively and confidently.

Our students demonstrate strong academic growth, particularly in literacy and numeracy, supported by dedicated teachers who deliver innovative, evidence informed programs that help every learner succeed.

Student wellbeing is central to everything we do. Through the explicit teaching of resilience, mindfulness and positive mindsets, we help students build confidence, emotional awareness and respectful relationships.

Beyond the classroom, students can explore a wide range of opportunities in sport, the arts, public speaking, leadership and STEM, allowing them to discover their strengths and pursue their interests.

Our ethos, Empowering Success, reflects our commitment to recognising every child’s unique strengths and supporting them to thrive.

We invite you to explore our school and discover what makes Bilgola Plateau Public School a place where every child can learn, grow and belong.

Cindy Gardiner, M.I.L., B.ECE., B.Soc.Sc.
